Frost

The flower bulbs should be in the ground by the end of November, because in December the risk of frost is much higher. The frost will make the ground very hard, making it more difficult to plant flower bulbs. But more importantly, the flower bulbs need to feel the cold of the frost. That’s what makes them start growing. So plant them before the start of December and you will have beautiful flowers in the school garden next spring.
